My name is Emily Allen and I have been a counselor here at LIFE since it opened in 2004. I enjoy working with adolescents, couples, and individual adult males and females. I have experience working with trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship problems, grief, family issues, and childhood disorders.
It is my goal in counseling to develop a real and authentic relationship and help you resolve hurt and pain through discovering meaning and purpose in your life. I have a strong faith in humankind and in the opportunity for change and personal growth. I have my undergraduate degree in social work from Northwest Nazarene University and currently hold a social work license in the state of Idaho. My master’s degree is from Northwest Nazarene University in community counseling and I am currently a licensed clinical professional counselor in the state of Idaho.
